Neeraj Chopra is an Indian Athlete Competitor, an Indian record holding Javellin hurler and a junior javelin world record holder

Neeraj Chopra was brought into the world on Wednesday, 24 December 1997 in Khandra, Panipat, Haryana, India (only a couple of kilometers from New Delhi, the capital of India).

His father  Mr. Sathish Kumar is a farmer, mother Miss. Saroj Devi- a homemaker. He has two younger sisters and three brothers.

Neeraj won the 2016 IAAF World U20 Titles held in Bydgoszcz, Poland. Neeraj set a lesser worldwide best during the occasion, the world record presented to him the prominence and popularity among avid supporters of India.

He is the main second Indian competitor after Anju Bobby George to win Gold decoration at a Big showdown.

July 2017 – he won gold – medal in the Asian Athletics Championship with a score of 85.23 meters.

May 2019 – Neeraj went through an elbow a medical procedure in May 2019 on his right elbow (his tossing hand) under Dr. Dinshaw Pardiwala, he is supposed to recuperate in time for 2020 Olympics.
